The Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum are inviting the descendants of former prisoners of Sachsenhausen concentration camp and its satellite camps from Germany and abroad to a networking meeting. Under the motto “What voice do we have?”, the meeting from 13 to 16 September 2024 will discuss, among other things, “how the voices and perspectives of subsequent generations can be made visible in memorial and educational work and what opportunities there are for descendants to become active and get involved.” The language of the meeting will be English, but translations will be possible to a limited extent.
A participation fee of 30 euros will be charged. Participants will be accommodated and catered for in double rooms at the nearby International Youth Meeting Centre Sachsenhausen “Haus Szczypiorski”.
Information about the event. Please register by email by 1 July.
