At the end of October 1938, the Nazis deported 27,000 Jews to Poland. This ultimately led to the pogroms of 9 November 1938.
On 22 and 23 September 1938, 2,000 Jews were transferred from Dachau concentration camp to Buchenwald. The background to this was the “Fall Grün”.
